Every year in winter swarms of photographers arrive in Hawai to focus with their cameras on the best surfers in the world as they push the limits in wave riding. But what it really takes to get that one and only epic shot, what it means to live a life complety based around surfing shows this great documentary FIBERGLASS AND MEGAPIXELS which focus on a group of professional surfers, photographers and cinematographers.
Have fun with this great teaser.
Great, just found the video which was shot at the beginning of the year, February 2011, at the 7BFT Kite House here at Soma Bay/Egypt. Beside some great kiteboard action you can see “The Breakers” hotel and the 7Bft kite house where I’m kiteboarding during my stay here.
Still 6 days to go before the kite holiday in Egypt starts. Today there was enough wind at the Feldberg to take out the smaller practice kite and do a little pre-session practice for YouDit. I survived 3 days of sport activities but was almost killed on the fourth day by a practice kite 🙂 Still don’t believe her that this wasn’t done on purpose!
24 years ago I customized my race bicycle out of different catalogues. For many years it hasn’t seen the daylight and so I thought it is time to bring it back to life. The frame is an original frame out of the 80th from the well known Italian race bicycle manufactory named “Olmo”. I used Marvic MA40 rims and gear/break set from Shimano. Overall this is still a good bike and in our days totaly up to date with all the fixy and single speed bicycles trend.
I changed some parts of the bike and reworked to color combo from blue/yellow to blue/yellow/brown. Some nice leather applications give’s it this special retro look. Thanks to YouDit for the helping hand and great advice at the bike shop. Let’s keep in mind that I was 14 when I had build it, the frame size is around 54 cm, means, yes, it’s perfect for a girl!
