Amazing song from the American rock band “Band of Horses”, originally briefly known as “Horses”. The band formed back in 2004 in Seattle and released their first album “Everything All the Time” in 2006. Non of their songs made it into any charts until they released their second album “Cease to Begin” and scored in the US Alt charts and Denmark.
Not sure why “The Funeral” from the first released album did not find the way into the charts. This is a brilliant strong melancholic rock song which builds up nicely throughout the song.
