The Rizla Suzuki MotoGP team has joined forces with the American motorsport design icon Troy Lee, and will display livery produced by the Southern California studio this season. Troy Lee has been customising helmets since 1981, and the company has grown over the past three decades to include a product line ranging from high-performance helmets to a complete line of motocross racing gear and casual wear. Loris Capirossi and Álvaro Bautista will wear exciting new race suits this season after the partnership between Rizla Suzuki and Troy Lee Designs was reached last week. The riders will display the attire as part of new livery, which will also incorporate the 2010 Suzuki GSV-R prototype. I’m really looking forward to see the new livery of the riders, the team and the prototype. Will be exiting to see what drops out of Troy Lee’s creative mind and how much it will fit into the brand image of Suzuki and Rizzla.
