Sangho Kim is a 2010 graduate of Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. He has been a member of Local Motors since 2008, and has since won the Miami Road Racer Competition. In addition to earning $20,000 in prize money in a short 4-month period, Sangho earned the greatest prize: to see his vehicle, the Rally Fighter, brought to life. His name will forever live on the side of every Rally Fighter.
Sangho penned the Rally Fighter design in 2008, and posted it to the Local Motors community for review and critique. Community feedback was immediately positive, and many demanded the car be built. Together with the community and Local Motors design team Sangho Kim designed his first production vehicle, the Rally Fighter.
People always say that there is not much space for new car concepts or car designs out on the market. But coming up with something unique and much different of what most brands are going after, creates some space for a new product. Sangho Kim designed a different car concept with a unique and strong charisma. Even that the target group will be very small, I believe that this is the toy which puts every man back into the sandbox of his dreams!
