Two friends going on a bike trip from Manali and drove the Trans Himalayan Highway to Leh, then summited Khardung La (The world’s highest motorable road) and headed east to Srinagar near the Pakistan border before returning to Manali. That is for sure one of the great stories you write when you are young and keep telling throughout your life. A very intense adventure with so many spectacular experiences which will last for a lifetime. India and the Himalayan mountains are already adventurous enough by itself but exploring it on a Royal Enfield suddenly becomes a unique and very personal story. I’ve traveled the Himalayan Mountains from India to Nepal from Gorakhpur to Kathmandu by local transport after taking busses from Varanasi to Gorakhpur. But that feels almost a boring and usual way.
The video itself is well done and feels so authentic and real that it’s great fun to watch. The fun, the pain, the disappointments but also the reading feelings come across so real.
The photo series “A day with Dustin Kott” by www.curtet.com presents the independently-owned company, which is based in the Los Angeles area and specialized in the fabrication and design of vintage motorcycles, namely bikes from the 1970’s Honda CB series. The well-known company has found a very significant style within the cafe racer world. Each bike concept is well thought-through and build with many customized parts to create this significant look&feel of the bike.
So it comes as no surprise, that in the same perfection as the bikes, photography has to be. With both companies based in the Los Angeles area, and the strong automotive portfolio of M&P CURTET, it made sense to team up for a great shoot about “Kott Bikes”.
The Ducati Scrambler team are at it again, releasing another run of custom builds at the Verona Motorbike Expo last weekend. This time they’ve unveiled 3 new builds, 2 of which are based on the new 400cc Scrambler Sixty2. The bike you see here is one of the two and it’s been coined the ‘Peace Sixty2’. To put this bike together Ducati enlisted the help of talented Italian workshop Mr Martini who once again applied Cafe Racer styling to the Desmodromic L twin, along with some rather unique design touches.
This video from earlier this year shows Yves Rossy & Vince Reffet at their flight above Dubai. A test flight and maybe the springboard for a impressive commercial, where the both Jetmans join forces with Emirates and a A380. This extraordinary formation flight is not only impressive to watch, it deserved also very detailed planning. This video showcases just how far aviation has come. A simple one-page landing page gives more information and the chance to ask questions. The clip creates awareness by the amazing pictures captured and the fact that those two men with their engines look so small compare to the massive A380. But it doesn’t take it any further.
… but it ended up hitting the mainstream and topping the bestseller listings.

The Bonesheart by deBolex. One of the best and very outstanding custom CB750 builds out there.
The Bonesheart Specials are a pair of identical customs produced for the Swedish App developer behind aGreatday.tv and the upcoming Bonesheart app. With influences from our MK3 and MK5 these CB750F2N based customs are our most ambitious to date.
Those bikes are just perfect in every detail. Everything is so well selected and balanced. deBolex is well known for their great custom builds and have some amazing bikes within their portfolio. But those both – for me – by far the best.
To read more in detail about the bikes, please visit the deBolex website.
Belstaff Films presents OUTLAWS. A surreal film within a film starring David Beckham as the Stranger – a mysterious drifter and motorcycle stuntman who is hunted by a maniacal Director seeking revenge.
The film features Katherine Waterston, Cathy Moriarty and Harvey Keitel. Shot on location in Mexico, the film is written and directed by Geremy Jasper, produced by Belstaff Films and Legs (a Milk Media Company) and Executive Producer Liv Tyler.
Though widely known for his ridiculous stunts and juvenile pranks, Johnny Knoxville has made the majority of his millions as a producer of some pretty acclaimed films over the last half decade or so, and Being Evel looks like it could be his best yet. An inside look at America’s foremost stuntman, Evel Knievel—who modern spectacle masters like Red Bull and Nitro Circus borrow from with reverent abandon—this one, following a Sundance appearance earlier this year, is set for a theatrical release next month, so make sure to check it out.
Never thought that’s possible. But in the spirit of pushing boundaries EMC set world records with the Lotus F1 Team and such amazing spot. The official Technical Partner is helping them “Redefine Motorsports” with the power of EMC technology.
Great trailer of another epic chapter of the MOTO The Movie film saga. “MOTO 6” travels the globe in pursuit of the most talented and elusive riders, those that truly live their lives by the twist of the throttle.
Some nice cinematography from one of my favorite photographers Laurent Nivalle. Citroen has been showing off a new concept car at the Paris Motor Show called the Citroen Divine DS. « DIVINE DS is an expression of our expertise. This concept car is the very essence of what DS is and what it will be. A perfect alliance between sophistication and technology. Unveiled just a few weeks after the birth of the brand, DIVINE DS perfectly expresses the unique personality of DS.” Yves Bonnefont, CEO, DS Brand.
