Reni Lane was born on January 10, 1988 in Oregon and is a singer-songwriter alt pop/rock artist now living in New York. With her bold new single and a style all her own, she has come on the scene with a bang. Her song “Place For Us” is unique and hard to pigeonhole – not unlike Ms. Lane herself. I have no idea who produced her fantastic video but all I can say is – it’s f**** awesome and a piece of art.  Using tight croppings throughout the video the style seems pretty photographic. Also the rough black and white treatment with limited highlighted color effects create a strong emotional mood.
