The Red Bull Windracer challenge invited 7 athletes with high technical free ride skills into one of the most remote areas of north-east Brazil, to Cambure Maranho, where between September-December a brutal wind blows with an average of 22 mp/h. Promoted as the unique race like no other, Red Bull fulfilled the promise big time! The challenge had a 13 km race track, divided into 5 km kiting on the beach, 3 km running over the beach (attached to the kite) and 5 km back into the ocean through canals and lagoons (watch out for crocodiles).

As some of the participants said in the interview, that was maybe one of the toughest things they ever done.
